It is made from sheep's milk in the Balkan countries and aged approximately 6 months. Kashkaval has a tangy taste with a firm smooth texture. It's a creamy cheese, with a little bit of a nutty flavor. Even more flavorful when served at room temperature. Kashkaval makes a great pizza cheese and excellent for quesadillas and Italian dishes such as lasagna. An appetizer plate is not complete without some of our delicious Kashkaval. Try some today!
