The “Helezoni Tugrakes”, or spiral calligraphic style of the Sultan’s signature, known as “Haliç isi” began to be used as a new element of decoration in Iznik white blue ceramics at the beginning of the 16th century.

“Helezoni Tugrakes” style consists of small leaves and floral motifs on spiral curls of branches. The Helezoni Plates were inspired by the Iznik blue white works that were decorated in this style.

Produced in two sizes, The Helezoni Plates are hand-made and all their patterns of relief have also been produced by hand and plated in 24-carat gold.
