The Hagia Sophia Mosaic Vase depicts the Virgin Mary as she appears in the "Deesis" scene on the south gallery walls of the Hagia Sophia.

Dated to the end 13th, beginning of the 14th century, and although deteriorated to fragments, a significant portion of the Deesis Mosaic has survived to our day. Jesus Christ is seen sitting on throne in the middle of the scene with the Virgin Mary and the Baptust kneeling in prayer by his side.

The Hagia Sophia Mosaic Vase is of hand made glass and its decorative reliefs have also been produced by hand, plated with 24 carat gold, each mosaic piece painted with a special glass paint.

Ayasofya Mozaik Vazo uzerinde, Ayasofya' nin guney galerisi icinde yer alan "Deesis" sahnesindeki Meryem Ana resmedilmistir.

13.yy-14yy basina tarihlenen Deesis Mozaigi, kalintilar halinde olmasina ragmen onemli bir bolumu gunumuze kadar gelmistir.Sahnenin butununde merkezde tahtta oturan Isa Peygamber, yaninda dua jestiyle diz cokmus Meryem Ana ve Vaftizci Yahya gorulur

Ayasofya Mozaik Vazo, el imalati camdan uretilmis olup uzerindeki rolyef desenlerin tumu el isciligi ile 24 ayar altin yaldiz kaplanarak, mozaik parcalarinin her birinin tek tek ozel cam boyasi boyanmasi ile gerceklestirilmistir.
