Description   Cranes drawing outlines of life upon the beautiful surface of glass... A variety of colors were used for different subject and for human figures depicted in the art of Islamic glass. Figures of ordinary, everyday people from all walks of life were used. The Turna Beaker was inspired by a lass pitcher that dates back to the period 1250-1275. On the hand made drinking glass can be seen two human figures, one kneeling, the other standing, by the lake in the open air, pointing to the cranes flying above them.The beaker takes its name from the crane, a bird believed to symbolize life. Islam camlarinda cesitli renklerin kullanimi, farkli konularin ve insan figurlerinin resmedilmesini saglamis, cesitli isler yapan halktan insanlar tasvir edilmistir. Turna Bardak, 1250-1275 yillari arasina tarihlenen, antik cam bardaktan esinle uretilmistir. El yapimi cam bardak uzerine, acik havada, gol kiyisinda biri dizleri uzerinde digeri ayakta gokyuzundeki turnalari isaret eden iki insan figuru resmedilmistir. Turna bardak, adini yasamin simgesi sayilan uzerindeki bu turna kuslarindan almistir.
