The floor mosaic, unearthed in antique city of Zeugma dating from end of second and beginnig of the 3rd centuries having a spriral shape with geometric patterns,is represented on the Kutsal Bowl, now in display in the Gaziantep Museum.

The antique city of Zeugma was founded by Seleucos | Nicator | in 300 B.C. The city was under Roman domination in First century A.D. when it took the name of "Zeugma"(Bridge, Pass). In the Zeugma mosaic we observe next to mythological representations the themes, generated by Euphrates of two thousand years ago, have come down to us

Kutsal Bowl is hand made, the glass surface that displays the mosaic designs is gilt with 24 carats gold, while each mosaic piece is tinted by hand with special glass dye.

Kutsal Kase uzerinde, Zeugma antik kentinde bulunan M.S. 2.yy sonu 3.yy basina tarihlenen spiral ve geometrik motifli bir taban mozaigi kullanilmistir. Mozaik bugun Gaziantep Muzesi'nde sergilenmektedir.

Zeugma antik kenti, M.O 300 yilinda Seleukos krali I. Seleukos Nikator tarafindan kurulmus, sehir M.S. 1.yy'da Roma hakimiyetine girmis "kopru", "gecit' anlamina gelen "Zeugma" adini almistir.

Zeugma kentindeki mozaiklerde, antik donemin mitolojik konularinin yani sira, etrafina bolluk ve bereket sacan Firat nehrinin kutsallastirilmasi konulari islenmistir.Boylece Firat nehri ile ilgili mozaiklere yansitilan sevgi, kutsallik ve tapinimla ilgili betimler iki bin yil oncesinden gunumuze ulasmistir.

Kutsal Kase, el imalati camdan uretilmistir, desenlerin uyguladigi cam yuzey 24 ayar altin yaldiz kullanilarak kaplanmis, altin kaplanan yuzeye mozaik doku uygulamasi yapilmis ve olusan her bir mozaik parcacagi ozel cam boyasi ile tek tek elde boyanmistir.
