The ornamed of the Kayseri Doner Kumbet (The dome-shaped tomb) inspired the life tree motif and geometrical patterns onthe Tas Bezeme Vase and Candle Holder.

The kumbets are tombs -the word is of Persian origin- in which are buried important personages like sultans, emirs, etc. The Doner Kumbet (The Revolving Tomb) in Kayseri is one of the most sumptous tombs of the many such tombs dating from the 13th century in Anatolia as regards its proportions, integrated desingns and decorations.

Tas Bezeme Vase and Candle Holder is handmade. The meterial of it is of beige opal bearing on it reliefs and tinted with aging dye.

Farscada catisi kubbe bicimindeki yapi anlaminda olan kumbetler, sultanlar, emirler gibi onemli kisiler icin yapilmis mezar anitlaridir. Kayseri Doner Kumbet, Anadolu'daki 13.yy kumbetler icinde, oranlari, butunlesmis tasarimi ve ozellikle bezemeleri ile en gorkemli kumbetlerden biridir.
