The Ovolo Bowl bears on it the border motifs on the sarcophagus said to have belonged to Alexander the Gerat dating 325-311 B.C. in display in the Istanbul Archeological Museum

The Sacaophagus was unearthed at the cementry of kings in Sidon(Sayda) in 1887 has on one side the representation of the wars between the Persian and the Greeks. The fact that Alexander happened to be among the warriors was istrumental in dubbing the sarcophagus "Alexander's Sarcophagus. On the reverse side of the sarcophagus is represented a hunting expedition.

The Ovolo Bowl is handmade glass and cut decorations on it are alsa handmade.

Ovolo Kase uzerinde, Istanbul Arkeoloji Muzesi'nde sergilenmekte olan, M.O. 325-311 yillari arasina tarihlenen Iskender Lahti uzerindeki bordur motif olarak kullanilmistir.

188y yilinda Sidon(Sayda) kentinin krallar mezrliginda bulunmus olan Iskender Lahti'nin bir yuzunde Persler ve Yunanlilar arasindaki savas sahnesi yer almaktadir. Bu savas sahnesinde Iskender resmedildigi icin lahite onun ismi verilmistir. Lahoton diger yuzunde ise iki ayri av sahnesi canlandirilmistir.

Ovolo Kase, el imalati camdan uretilmis, uzerindeki kesme dekorlarin tumu el isciligi ile yapilmistir.
